After the
death of her father, Hannah becomes concerned with the
strange behavior of her mother. As her mother's troubled
childhood is revealed, Hannah realizes how little she ever
knew.
Captain Foster plans on raiding
German-occupied Tobruk with hand- picked commandos, but a mixup leaves him
with a medical unit led by a Quaker conscientious objector. Despite all odds
they succeed with their mission. On the way they pick up and drug the
mistress of an Italian general, blow up the entire fuel supply for the
Afrika Korps, and swap philatelic gossip with Field Marshal Erwin Rommel.
The captain of
a submarine sunk by the Japanese during WWII is finally given a chance
to skipper another sub after a year of working a desk job. His
singleminded determination for revenge against the destroyer that sunk
